Spiritual mentor
I’m a Ritwik (ঋত্বিক). My Living Ideal is Sree Sree Thakur Anukulchandra . Through Master Within, I read his words with people and talk about what they ask of us at home, at work and in our relationships.
What happens in a class?
I read a passage of Thakur’s aloud. We look at what a word means in context, then talk about where that idea turns up in our own lives. The weekly conversation is in Bengali and Hindi. On your first visit you’re welcome to listen, with your camera off if you prefer.
If you’re coming across his name for the first time, this short introduction to Thakur gives you a place to begin.
A question to read with
What guides a decision when the same act helps one person and hurts another? I took up that question in What Does Not Move . It’s one way into what I mean when I speak about Dharma.
I co-founded Master Within Foundation in 2016. Our work brings spiritual practice, education and social service together.
Bijnan-Vibhuti
As a physicist and a reader of Thakur, I’m interested in the questions his philosophy brings to science. I call this work Bijnan-Vibhuti . His vision of the Satsang Vishwa Vigyan Kendra inspired Vishwa Vigyan.
